Enduro week in Chamonix, September 1-8th 2019

Extend the summer by joining us for this late summer week of riding amazing single trails in the Chamonix valley, Italy and Switzerland.

WINTER

Skiing

The Chamonix valley consists of several ski areas that offer a variety of slopes for both beginners and experts. The closest ones to the chalet are Les Houches and Brevent/Flegére. The other areas are easily accessible, either with the ski bus network or with our personal driving service. With the Mont Blanc Unlimited lift pass you can also ski in Megéve and Courmayeur, which are both less than an hour away.

Mountaineering

Chamonix is a mountaineering mecca. If you are not confident enough to go by yourselves, we are working with several great local guides that we can hook you up with.

Off-piste skiing

If off-piste skiing is your thing, then you probably know that there is no shortage of amazing off-piste skiing in the valley. We are working with several mountain guides and are more than happy to arrange an epic day out.

SUMMER

Trail running

There is an endless amount of hiking trails throughout the valley that are great for trail running. Be prepared to log some vertical meters though!

Hiking

Hiking is probably the most popular activity in Chamonix during the summer and with the spectacular views it is easy to understand why.

Mountain biking

Chamonix is a great base for mountain biking. In the valley there are a several enduro trails as well as the downhill areas in Les Houches and Le Tour. Within just over an hour's drive you have access to La Thuile and Pila in Italy, Morzine/Les Gets in France, Verbier in Switzerland. We have been mountain biking in most of the places around the area and can give you loads of recommendations based on which type of riding that you prefer.

Road cycling

There are several cols and climbs around Chamonix. If you like challenges, why not try the steep climb to the Emosson dam which starts a few kilometres from the chalet.

Climbing

There are plenty of sport, traditional and via-ferrata climbs throughout the valley. Are you up for a full day multi-pitch climb? Take any of the lifts up high. Are you into a chilled day at a crag? Try the Gaillands crag which is only a few minutes away from the chalet. We have a few guidebooks with topos in the chalet.

Are you travelling with children?

No problem, we love children, but we also know that you as parents sometimes might want some alone time. Therefore, we are working with a local babysitting company that will take great care of your loved ones while you are out enjoying the mountains. They offer a very reasonable rate of €20 per hour for one babysitter/2 children. Please contact us for more information.
